Please join Elise Beattie and myself for our show, "If Palettes Could Talk."
Elise and I paint in very different styles. My realism is rooted in nature and the close observation of light and form. Elise creates fluid abstract paintings and lets intuition guide her brush.
While our approaches and subjects may look worlds apart, we both use color, paint, and pattern to express something words can’t quite say. Together, the abstracts and florals create a dynamic show of color and composition, proving that two very different artistic styles can still have plenty to say to each other.
The show will be up November 3 - 30, with a First Friday reception on November 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. We'd love to see you there!
